Did you know?

Climbing the tallest slides offers breathtaking panoramic views of Torrevieja’s famous, naturally bright pink salt lake nearby.

Unlike most water parks, your entry ticket allows you to bring your own food and drinks for a picnic.

The children's zone features exclusive, smaller, safer replicas of the park's most extreme adult slides for younger thrill-seekers.

Is Aquopolis Torrevieja worth visiting?

The moment you walk in, the Costa Blanca heat stops being a problem and starts being the best part of your day. Towering over the park is the Kamikaze, a 50-meter near-vertical drop that will have you second-guessing your courage all morning. For a shared rush, the Boomerang sends two riders flying up a massive U-shaped wall, while the wave pool runs on a schedule that the whole park organizes its day around.

Since 1987, Aquopolis has been the go-to spot for a town that swells to four times its population every summer. It offers a perfect balance: high-speed thrills for adrenaline seekers, a peaceful Lazy River for a total reset, and dedicated zones where kids can create their own adventures. You’ll leave sun-kissed and happily exhausted, clutching a Kamikaze photo as proof of a day lived at full speed.

Skip it if the beach is all you are after. This place earns its keep only with a full day.

Kamikaze

The park's signature 50-meter near-vertical slide hits intense speeds. It’s the one everyone talks about, and the queue builds fast. Pro tip: Ride this within the first 30 minutes of opening to beat the midday rush.

Boomerang

A U-shaped half-pipe where two riders on a shared tube shoot up the opposite wall, hang weightless for a second, then swing back. The most-photographed ride in the park.

Black Hole

A fully enclosed tube slide in complete darkness. Every turn is a surprise because you cannot see it coming. The queue moves faster here than at the open slides, making it an easy one to ride more than once.

Speed Race

Six lanes, six mats, one winner. This head-first racing slide is a family favorite for group competition and splash finishes. Pro tip: Keep your body flat and elbows tucked in to gain maximum speed and win.

Wave Beach

This massive social hub runs scheduled sessions that draw the entire park together when the bell rings. Pro tip: Check the wave schedule at the entrance upon arrival so you can plan your day around it.

Amazonia Lazy River

A tropical loop with palm trees and waterfalls. It is the perfect escape when the sun is strongest and the major slide queues peak. Pro tip: Grab a double tube if you're with a child; they run out faster.

Kids' Zone

Shallow pools, mini slides, and splash fountains built specifically for children under 1.2 metres. Staff run organised activities here during peak hours, with shaded seating for parents surrounding the area.

How to explore Aquopolis Torrevieja

Plan for a minimum of 5 hours. Families covering the Kids' Zone alongside the main slides typically need 6 to 7. The park is fully self-guided and well signposted throughout.

Suggested route: Head straight for the Kamikaze and Boomerang the moment you walk in. Both queues are shortest in the first 90 minutes after opening at 11am. Follow with the Black Hole and Speed Race before the midday crowd peaks. From 12pm onwards, shift to the Amazonia Lazy River and time your arrival at the Wave Beach Pool to catch a scheduled wave session. Check the wave timetable posted at the entrance when you arrive. Afternoons from 4pm are worth a second run at the Kamikaze as queues begin to thin.

Must-see: Kamikaze, Boomerang, and the Wave Beach Pool during a live session.

Optional: Black Hole and Speed Race reward repeat visits across the day and never carry the same queue weight as the headline slides.

This park is designed for a self-paced experience, no matter the size of the group you’re in.
